It is a free online resource that allows anyone within the creative business and arts community in Hertfordshire to showcase work, find available training and support, and network with others. It provides a one-stop-shop for creative people and organisations to find out about who is working creatively in the county. It is designed to encourage interactivity and networking and to help businesses find one another and work together.
Register with the site
If you’re a creative of any kind, be it an artist, producer, creative organisation, creative business or venue, you can create a profile page and showcase your work to others in Hertfordshire and beyond. There is absolutely no cost to do this. Simply click here to register and begin creating your profile.
Of course, you don’t have to publish content on the site to join. You can still interact with the creative community here, or even share a profile you like with your friends via social media.

Find profile pages for artists, organisations, creative individuals, businesses or venues, listed in a dynamic, searchable directory covering the whole of the Arts & Creative business community, from artists to festivals, web designers, poets, musicians, galleries, architects and theatre companies to name a few. Make sure your organisation is on here and also say if you have a space for hire, so people can contact you!
We Connect – find useful contacts that work across Hertfordshire and in particular districts or boroughs. There’s also a list of National Support Agencies worth knowing about. If we have missed anyone, please let us know.
We Promote – opportunities to develop your creative and cultural activity in Hertfordshire. This section helps you find essential funding, jobs, training and marketing opportunities. You can also see Creative Hertfordshire members who have venues and spaces for hire, whether that be studio space, commercial or community venues, galleries, theatre or creative making space.
We Share – news, case studies, insight and toolkits, and essential information on key topics. All identified and shared by the county’s cultural and creative community.

Herts Cultural Partnership
The Herts Cultural Partnership (HCP) provides some essential infrastructure to support the work of the wider cultural sector in Hertfordshire. HCP will be supported by organisations and networks with a keen interest in the success and growth of the county’s cultural sector.
The Herts Cultural Partnership (HCP) is hosted in the University of Hertfordshire (UH). UH staff will perform specific roles to support the co-ordination and promotion of the partnership. HCP work programmes will be shared by partners, not just be delivered by UH staff.

Our collective mission is to create a dynamic and sustainable cultural sector that makes a positive impact on people’s lives by:
a) Supporting a vibrant and resilient economy – supporting the creative economy and to enabling Hertfordshire residents to access opportunities for sustainable employment.
b) Placemaking – exploring how to integrate arts, culture and heritage into high streets and community spaces to ensure Hertfordshire is a vibrant and engaging place to live, work, and visit.
c) Enhancing health and wellbeing – exploiting the ability for arts and culture to improve the mental and physical health of Hertfordshire residents.
d) Promoting inclusive communities – ensuring our cultural activity reflect and support Hertfordshire’s diverse population, promoting identity, belonging and inclusivity.
Hertfordshire Cultural Education Partnership (HCEP)
We aim to ensure all young people living and learning in Hertfordshire are accessing a varied and rewarding cultural life.
Supported led by the University of Hertfordshire, HCEP brings together partners who aspire to improve the lives of Hertfordshire’s children and young people through access to high quality arts and culture.
HCEP believes:
- Every young person has a right to a high quality creative and cultural education within and beyond the school day
- The impact of an excellent creative and cultural education is, individual well-being, employability & economic growth
- A sustainable offer requires strong partnerships and well-connected, cross-sector networks led by the education and cultural sectors
- Engagement in arts and culture helps children live healthy, creative lives developing both emotional resilience and physical well-being
